Washing

Steam clean only; never use conventional washing machines.

Water

Use only cold water for washing.

Soap

Gently apply soft soap all over the shawl.

Squeeze

Gently roll the shawl and press to remove excess water.

Drying

Dry indoors in open air, away from direct sunlight.

Ironing

Iron inside out only to protect the pattern and colors.

  • Never hang on a clothesline to dry; it causes stretching or deformation.
  • Do not stretch the fabric while ironing to prevent damage.
  • Avoid hot water entirely, as it can shrink or discolor the shawl.
  • Skip steam ironing to preserve fabric quality and patterns.
